Spanish Class

Alex's week had turned out to be better then she expected. She expected it to be like torture, though at least she'd made some friends. So, today she hoped it would be good as well. It was her second lesson, Spanish Class. Her first Spanish Class since she'd arrived here, which was gonna be easy for her. Hopefully. She'd managed to find her room & took a seat at the back, alone at the moment.

Hectar entered the Spanish class, worried as usual. He didn't like Spanish that much, as he wasn't good at it. Well, not very good anyway. However, when he entered the room, he had a pleaseant surprise; there was Ali, his friend. He walked over and sat next to her. "Hey Alex!" He said brightly. She was cool, she'd talk to him.

Ali smiled as Hectar came & sat next to her, at least she was sat next to someone she knew. "Hey Hectar" She smiled, brightly.

Hectar smiled when she greeted him. She was kind of cute, and she was awesome too. "I bet you'll be awesome at this, being Spanish and all." He smiled. "Miss. is gonna love you." She liked anyone who was good at Spanish, which meant that he was on pretty good terms with her.

Ali giggled "Well, I hope so coz I suck at all my other classes." The brunette replied, smiling.

Hectar smiled at her. "I'm sure you're fine, just low self-esteem. You'll probably surprise yourself." He nodded.

"I hope so!" Ali smiled, then looked forward as the teacher started talking.

Hectar smiled as Miss. started talking. He listened, but kept glancing out of the corer of his eye at Ali.

1 hour later...

He sighed as the lesson finished. To him, it had been... well, boring. He turned to Ali. "Did you enjoy the lesson? If so, you can speak for yourself." He smirked.

Ali giggled, she'd noticed Hectar's glances but didn't say anything. "It was okay, that's definatley the lesson I'm best at." She replied, smiling.

Hectar nodded. "I totally saw that coming." He then laughed, "Maybe you could help me this time!" He grabbed his bag and swung it over his shoulder. "So, you ready?" He decided he'd want to hang out with her. She was cool.

Ali smiled, laughing with him. "Sure, any time!" She replied, gathering her books & folders. "Yeah, but I need to put all this stuff in my locker first." She replied, still smiling brightly.

Hectar nodded. "Sure beans." That was his thing, sure beans. He said it all the time, really, whenever he was saying fine.

Ali giggled, shaking her head. Americans were so weird compared to Spanish people, but she supposed that was just something she'd get use to.

Hectar smiled when she giggled, she had such a cute laugh. He then made a slightly reckless decision. "Oh, and there's something to tell you. But I'll say it at the lockers, come on!" He held out his hand.

She took his hand, following him down the corridors. Her smile still on her face as she recognized her locker, & slowed down.

They slowed down as they arrived at Ali's locker. He smiled. It was time. They stopped and he held her hand in both of his. It was so soft. He sighed. "Ali..." He smiled. "I really like you. So... Will you go out with me?"

Ali's smile suddenly turned into one of shock, that was something she hadn't expected. She didn't know what to say, after all she'd just arrived in Lima. She was still the 'newbie', what was she suppose to say? Being in a relationship so soon after arriving, she'd never been in a relationship full stop. She was so confused, she just stood there silently contemplating.

Ali was silent; in Hectar's experience, that wasn't a good idea. He bit his lip and asked, "Too soon?" Of course, it seemed to be obviously too soon, as she was new, but he was serious. "Oh God, I'm so sorry. So very sorry. Please, don't think badly of me." He kicked a locker before saying under his breath, "Such an idiot, can't do anything porperly."

"No, your not." Ali replied, putting her hand on his shoulder. Then she sighed, she knew it was too soon & she knew her father wouldn't be pleased but she didn't care what he thought. "Yes. I will." She smiled, brushing a piece of her out of her eyes.

Over all, no matter what he'd been through, nothing had shocked him more then this. She casually agreed. His eyes widened, a smile growing on his face. He laughed with joy. "Now that," He told her, "Is awesome." He then pulled her into a hug. Maybe not a kiss, not yet. They'd have plenty of time for that.

Alex hugged him back, a smile on her face. She had a feeling sometime soon she'd regret this, but for now she just wanted to enjoy it. "Why thank you." She replied, jokingly.

Hectar grinned when she jokingly thanked him. She sounded very lady-like. "I was expecting you to curtsy there. In fact..." He bowed mockingly. "You're welcome, m'lady." He held in a chuckle. "So... you still want help with your homework?" He smiled at her.

Ali smiled, curtsying & giggling at the same time. "Of course." She replied, her mind casting back to the piles of work on her desk at home.

Alex ran on the walls like the Matrix, he then jumped down by Hectar and said, "Sorry dude, emergency basketball meeting." Alex said.

Hectar sighed when Alex came along. "Emergency Basketball practice? Are you serious?" He rolled his eyes and turned to Ali. "I'm sorry, I've got to go. I'll catch up with you later, okay?" He kissed her on the cheek, hugged her quickly, then turned to Alex. "By the way, we're going out. Just so you know..." He held in a smirk.
