Awkward moment ((Santana, set in the past)) ((Sorry Alex, but this will make it more interesting))

Hectar was sat there, alone, in Breadstix. It was the day his Dad had died, and he was a wreck. He had just become an Orphan, and so was looking for someone, anyone, who could cheer him up. He'd ordered a Pizza, but was fiddling with the crust. He didn't realise how un-hungry he was. A tear wriggled slowly down his cheek as he thought of how he would neve see him again. He'd chosen to move there for his friends, and because he knew the place. It was good for him there, the buisnessman had said. It'd help him get over the misery. He was looking over at the door when he saw Santana Lopez walk in, and immediately smiled. She'd be able to cheer him up in... ways. Ways nobody else could. He waited until she looked, and the right corner of his mouth pulled up, as he winked and gave her a little wave. She looked hot, he had to admit.

Santana wandered into breadstix, alone for once. It had been a crap day for her, it wasn't just the fact that Britt hadn't been at school but also she was feeling down which meant her bitchiness was coming out more.

She saw Hectar sat, alone. She'd heard about his dad but they didn't really know each other. Though, she hated the thought of anyone else from school seeing her alone. So, she wandered over to him.

Hectar smiled as she walked over to him. He turned to her and, seeing that she looked down, stated, "Hey Santana. What's wrong? You look sad." He brushed the tear from his face, trying to look macho. He hated seeming weak in front of people.

"Nothing, I'm fine." She replied, sitting down. Santana didnt wanna be mean to a guy who'd just lost his dad, she wasnt that much of a bitch.

Hectar looked at her, slightly sarcastically. She evidently was kinda upset. "Whatever," He commented, but didn't sound to mean. He wanted her to be okay. "So..." He smiled at her. "What've you been up to since I was here last?" He was interested, but it was mostly to lull her into a false sense of security. Well, not false completely, only slightly.

Santana wasn't usually this nice, but oh well... it just proved there was something wrong with her. Though, she was thinking 'Perverted much?'... she didnt show that. "Nothing much, same old Sh** really" She answered.

Hectar nodded coolly. "Good, good." She seemed so much kinder than before. Maybe she'd just heard about his Dad, but... well, he liked the nice version. She'd make a good friend. He felt an awkward moment coming on, but he left it there to be. What was wrong with a simple moment of awkwardness?

Santana couldn't help but think 'man this is awkward' because to be honest it was. Though, she needed company... it was boring & lonely on her own. So, she put up with the awkwardness.

The awkward moment passed on it's way, like a freight train but longer. He looked into her eyes, and then spoke, just to stop the freight train of silence. "So..." He wondered what else to say. It was so weird, he'd barely known her before he'd moved, and here he was, alone, talking to her and unable to stop thinking how hot she was. He cleared his throat and waited for her to say something, hopefully to spark a conersation.

"Sorry to hear about your dad." Santana replied, with the only thing that came into her head. It wasn't the best thing to say but it was all she could think of at the moment. The silence was killing her, god she hated silence.

Hectar was mainly relieved that she'd thought of something, but a little upset. It was just what she'd said, made him think of his Dad. But he stayed strong. "Thanks," He mumbled. He doubted she honestly wanted to talk bout it, and neither did he. "But let's pick a more positive topic." He added. "So... you with anyone?" Immediately, he wished he hadn't said it. What the hell was with that? He suspected that she'd just end the conversation there and go off on him. He hoped not, he liked having somebody to talk to.

Her eyebrows raised slightly, then came back down. "Nope, not at the moment." She replied, wondering why he'd asked.

Btw, Here is her outfit.

Santana wasn't with anyone. Hectar smiled at her. "Sorry, I don't know why I'm asking that! Just... breaking the ice or something, I guess." He breathed out. "Damned brain." He smirked a little at that. He hated having to think sometimes.

Santana smiled, holding back a laugh. Sometimes,who you never talk to can be really funny... or nice... or something. God, there seriously was something wrong with her at the moment. Though, he was a little cute.

Hectar smiled. She seemed to be somehow enjoying herself. Another silence was coming on, so he tried something he'd seen on T.V. He brushed a strand of her that had ventured onto her face behind her ear, but allowed his hand to linger a little, waiting to see what could happen.

She smiled, as he pushed a peice of hair out of her face. It was sweet. Something in his eyes, it was cute.

Santana was smiling. So was Hectar. He leaned in a little, partially unsure of what to do but partially aware of what the possibilities were. He leaned in a litle further, looking into her eyes.

Santana was actually enjoying herself, & she knew what was about to happen. To be honest, she had no objections to it. So, she leaned forward as well to kiss him.

Then their lips met. Long story short. He felt himself being happy.

Santana smiled slightly & kissed him back, she was enjoying herself. Though, she knew she was enjoying it too much but didn't care.

Hectar loved it, truly. He snaked his arms around her back and pulled her a little closer, making out with her totally.

She didn't resist when he pulled her closer, though when she could get a word in she said "While this is really good & its turning me on, I'm not cool with making out in a restuarant in frount of people. How bout we go to my place?" She asked, she didnt plan to go to far though.

Hectar grinned at her when they broke apart. Did she mean it? To test, he replied, "It's on. I'll drive."

Santana smiled back at him. "Sure" She replied, this was going to be a weird night. Not that they brunette cared.
